Description

NVIDIA IGX Thor helps accelerate low-latency, real-time applications with the new Blackwell Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) technology and a powerful 14-core Arm® Neoverse®-V3AE CPU. It also provides a comprehensive suite of accelerators, including a third-generation Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA), dual encoders and decoders, an optical flow accelerator, and more.

For high-speed sensor fusion, the developer kit offers extensive I/O options, including a QSFP port supporting 4x25GbE, wired Multi-GbE RJ45 connectivity, multiple USB ports, and additional connectivity interfaces.

With the Functional Safety Island (FSI) integrated into the NVIDIA Thor SoC and an onboard safety microcontroller (MCU), the platform seamlessly combines AI and safety capabilities within a single system.

IGX Thor represents a new class of enterprise edge computers purpose-built to power next-generation industrial and medical edge applications. Leveraging the NVIDIA Blackwell GPU architecture, it delivers exceptional generative AI reasoning and multimodal sensor processing capabilities.

The platform supports a broad range of generative AI models, from Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models such as NVIDIA Isaac GR00T N to popular Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs), including models such as NVIDIA Cosmos Reason.
